Description
Feb 11th – Sunday – land in Bordeaux and get picked up by Geoff Tate and his band. Drive out to our 900 year old fully restored castle in the country. Have some food and drinks while we spend time with the band and settle into your rooms.
Feb. 12th – Monday – Geoff will take you to Lascaux world heritage site with 17,000 year old prehistoric cave paintings. Have lunch in Montignac and then return to Chateau for dinner and drinks with the band.
Feb. 13th – Tuesday – We will visit the medieval village of Sarlat all day shopping and sightseeing. Sarlat is a city famous for its gastronomic delights and we will stay for dinner and judge for ourselves.
Feb 14th – Wednesday – Spend the day with Geoff and the band in your 12th century castle. WE have something special planned for you.
Feb. 15th – Thursday – Visit and open market in the village of Domme in the morning tasting all the local foods and buying up the local crafts. Pick out some things we can share for dinner and then head for a tour at Beynac castle in the afternoon.
Feb. 16th – Friday – Visit the famed cliffside village of Rocamadour and take in the breathtaking views of the french countryside while checking out the local cafes and bars. Probably bars with the band along.
Feb 17th – Saturday – Drive back to Bordeaux stopping for a wine tasting in the afternoon before settling into the city to have dinner and check out the nightlife.
Feb 18th – Sunday – Return flights home.
